Senior Citizen Service Program

Elder Rhode Islanders have a need for a variety of legal services. Whether it is end-of-life planning, Medicare/Medicaid issues, housing, debt collection fraud, or any number of other issues related to age, RICLAPP provides a variety of legal services to address these issues. RICLAPP offers legal counsel and services to any senior in need.

In June of 2009 RICLAPP partnered with senior centers throughout the state to take the Senior Citizen Services Program even further by bringing legal services directly to seniors. RICLAPP's Senior Legal Clinic Program is happy to now count the Cranston, Pilgrim, East Greenwich, Woonsocket, and South Kingstown Senior Centers as partners in this program which allows seniors access to much needed services and counsel.

RICLAPP’s Senior Legal Clinic Program receives funding from the Cities of Cranston and Warwick through their Community Block Grant programs. We would like to express our sincere thanks to both cities for their continued support!

Senior Legal Clinic Schedule:

Cranston Senior Center - Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month, 9:30-11:30 

Pilgrim Senior Center - Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the Month, 12:00-3:00 

East Greenwich Senior Center - Every 4th Wednesday of the Month, 9:00-12:00 

Woonsocket Senior Center - Every 3rd Thursday of the Month, 1:00-3:00 

South Kingstown Senior Center - Every 3rd Tuesday of the month, 9-12

Fees

RICLAPP believes that legal counsel and representation should not be beyond anyone's reach. Our sliding fee scale for senior citizens is dependent on annual income. To determine which income bracket you fit into, please review the Annual Income Chart. Once you determine your income bracket, you will be able to find the prices that apply to you.
